What Really Happens at Boot Camp?



If you’ve become bored or disillusioned with previous exercise regimes, then joining Adventure Boot Camp means this feeling will be a thing of the past. No day’s training is identical to another session – 20 workouts will be 20 unique workouts. Your trainer will use a wide variety of exercises designed to help you flex, tone and stretch.

Boot camp is designed to get you in the best possible shape as quickly as is physically possible. The carefully created programme will sculpt your body, boost your metabolism and reduce your body fat.

Everything is geared towards creating lean muscle, not bulk. By building lean muscle, we can increase your metabolic rate, which means that you burn more calories all the time - even when just sitting! For every pound of muscle you build, you can burn up to 50 extra calories a day. What more could you ask of an exercise programme?

The sort of thing you’ll be doing....
Core balance & conditioning - callisthenics - short distance jogging - circuit training - obstacle courses - mat exercises - hiking - surprises to keep you interested!

The intensity builds slowly day by day, week by week bringing the whole group with it. It’s this slow-build philosophy that makes boot camp so accessible for all - it doesn’t matter how you start, it’s how you finish that counts.

Why do it outside?



There’s increasing evidence nowadays that getting outside into the fresh air really helps us exercise better, feel better and live better. And it’s not just being outside, it’s being outside in a green space; be it a park or a cricket ground you get the benefit of being amidst trees, plants and flowers. What could be more uplifting for the spirit than stretching in the shade of a leafy tree or hiking through bluebells?

Here are just a few of the ways that outdoor exercise can help us....
